2. Information collected automatically
Like most websites, the web server or hosting provider may automatically receive ordinary technical information when pages are requested. Depending on the hosting environment, this can include an IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, referring information, and date or time of a request. This information is generally part of normal website operation, security, and server logging. Moxies eXtreme TechGear does not claim that it maintains a separate personal-information database from these routine logs.
3. Cookies, local storage, and analytics
The site uses browser storage for certain site-preference functionality, such as remembering the selected light or dark theme. This is a local preference stored by your browser.
Moxies eXtreme TechGear uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate website traffic and improve guides. Google Analytics may use cookies and collect information such as pages viewed, general device and browser details, approximate location, and referral source. Google processes this information under its own Privacy Policy. You can limit cookies through your browser settings or use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

8. Security
Reasonable measures are used to operate and protect the website and information voluntarily sent to it. However, no website, transmission, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Scuba community submissions
The diver guestbook and instructor directory use a private email-based review process. Information is not posted automatically. Submitters choose what non-private fields may be published and must send the prepared email from their own email service.
Private reply or verification email addresses are used to review the submission and are not published unless the submitter explicitly selects an email address as an instructor's public professional contact. Exact home addresses, private phone numbers, medical information, student records, and unnecessary sensitive information should not be submitted.
Approved guestbook and directory information may remain public until it becomes outdated or the submitter requests correction or removal. Requests can be sent through the site's contact email. Credential checks are point-in-time reviews and do not replace a student's own verification before training.
10. Changes to this policy
